Evonik Comfort & Insulation wins Best Presentation Award

Demonstrating Evonik’s commitment to innovation, Robert Tauchen receives “Best Presentation Award” at the 2012 Polyurethanes Technical Conference in Atlanta, USA.

Robert Tauchen, Technical Service Representative from the Comfort & Insulation Business Line, received a second consecutive “Best Presentation Award” at the 2012 Polyurethane Technical Conference. Tauchen’s winning presentation was entitled, “Understanding the Relationship between Surfactants and Aged Insulation Value in PIR Foam.”

In 2011, Tauchen, who works at the site in Hopewell, USA, received the same award for his presentation, “Easing the Transition between Blowing Agents in PIR Formulations through Proper Surfactant Selection.”

“We are excited to see Bob win this prestigious award two years in a row. I believe this highlights the innovative culture that our Comfort & Insulation team characterizes. All of the 63 technical papers and 26 posters helped propel us to a five year high in attendance for the conference. We are grateful to all our paper and poster presenters for their contributions.”
